JSMM Client Frank Ancona Honda Featured in Kansas City Star for Cause Marketing Campaign
This past October, JSMM client Frank Ancona Honda was featured on the front page of Kansas City Star’s Drive Section for their support in a mobile fundraising campaign for Great Plains SPCA. Great Plains SPCA is Kansas City’s most unique and comprehensive no kill animal welfare agency. JSMM helped curate cause marketing social media content for Frank Ancona Honda to help make the campaign a huge success.
Great Plains SPCA had an online fundraising goal of $200,000 and it was able to exceed the goal through a matching grant program through RAZ Mobile. RAZ Mobile is a fundraising company that helps nonprofits of all sizes engage and fundraise via supporters’ phones. The custom mobile giving platform is easy to use and provides immediate funding and donor insights to better track your fundraising campaign. RAZ mobile campaigns are proven to reach higher fundraising goals and be seen more by potential donors.
Valerie Jennings, CEO of JSMM was quoted in the article:
“RAZ Mobile (a mobile fundraising company) reached out to me and said do you have any corporate clients who would be interested in getting a matching donation program going. I immediately thought of Frank Ancona Honda, knowing that Frank Ancona’s wife, who passed away, was an animal advocate. I connected the two together. What we did was create social media content that drove people to the designated campaign page for Great Plains SPCA.”
This donation campaign helped Frank Ancona Honda continue the legacy of Mr. Ancona’s late wife Sheila. Sheila was an avid supporter of animal welfare and donated frequently to various animal shelters throughout Kansas City. She passed away in August 2014, after a long battle with cancer.
